Board of Directors

why we do what we do

The Harborfest Leadership Team is made up of a dedicated group of community leaders who care deeply about the festival, the City of Oswego, and Harborfest’s future. As the Board of Directors, they help guide the organization’s mission, support its year-round planning, and work to ensure Harborfest continues to grow as a source of civic pride, community connection, and celebration for generations to come.

Our Mission Statement

“To create nationally recognized festivals and events that attract and engage a broad and diverse audience, celebrate and build community, and advance economic development in Oswego.”

Mission

leadership with a clear purpose

Our board exists to ensure Harborfest stays true to its purpose — delivering a high-quality festival that is accessible, community-driven, and sustainable year after year. Every decision is guided by long-term impact, not just short-term execution.

From planning and partnerships to financial oversight and community alignment, the board provides structure and direction so Harborfest can continue growing while staying rooted in what matters most: people, experience, and local pride.

Behind Harborfest is a group of individuals who contribute their time, expertise, and perspective to help shape the festival each year. These members support planning, coordination, and decision-making across all areas of the event.

While not always visible, their role is essential — helping ensure the festival runs smoothly, stays aligned with its mission, and continues to serve the Oswego community at a high level.
