CNY’s Best Fireworks Show Returns to Harborfest, Thanks to Pathfinder Bank

July 10, 2025 by Harborfest

Thanks to Pathfinder Bank, the sky over Lake Ontario will again come alive with the color and sound of Central New York’s biggest and best fireworks display. The Grucci Family show of colorful explosions synched to music returns beginning at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26 because of Pathfinder’s financial support. The show, like all of Harborfest, is free of charge. The festival runs from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27.

“Harborfest has always held a special place in my heart and in the heart of this community. As someone who grew up in Oswego and spent years on the Harborfest board in various capacities, I’ve seen firsthand how this event brings people together. It’s more than just a celebration, it’s an event that highlights our local businesses, arts, and shared connections. At Pathfinder Bank, we value opportunities that reflect the spirit and resilience of the communities we serve. Harborfest is a shining example of that. We’re thankful to the board and volunteers who make it possible, and we’re glad to be supporting it once again. I’m looking forward to joining the celebration with everyone this summer.” says James Dowd, President and CEO of Pathfinder Bank.

“The cheer that goes up at the end of every fireworks show always gives me chills. It shows us what we can do when partners like Pathfinder Bank invest strongly in their communities. Our fireworks show is unique in all of Central New York, drawing thousands to Oswego, and we are grateful to Jim Dowd and our friends at Pathfinder for their unwavering support of this spectacular event.,” said Dan Harrington, Harborfest Executive Director.

Syracuse’s Dinosaur Radio is also a returning media sponsor, again broadcasting the music of the fireworks show. The Dinosaur can be heard on FM frequencies 94.1, 95.3 and 103.9, with 103.9 being the best for reception in Oswego.
