Directions to Oswego, NY and Parking
Oswego is a city tied to the water. The city sits on the south shore of Lake Ontario and has the Oswego River running through its heart. The city’s nickname is “The Port City,” alluding to its long history as a major shipping port. Oswego is 40 miles north of Syracuse and midway between Rochester and Watertown as you drive along the shoreline.

Parking
There are many spots for parking in the city, though they can be hard to come by during Harborfest. There is some paid, private lot parking. During the festival the City of Oswego enforces all parking regulations. Unauthorized vehicles in no-parking zones or in reserved parking spots will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. Many privately owned parking lots are located in close proximity of Harborfest venues.
There are limited accessible parking spaces available throughout the city and in the parking lot on Lake Street (Breitbeck Park) for those with the proper license plates or tags.

Harborfest runs a free shuttle service, with trolleys running each half hour. Details on hours and locations served will be posted as soon as they are available.
