Getting Here The City of Oswego is located on the south shore of Lake Ontario in north-central New York and promotes itself as “The Port City of Central New York”. Oswego is 40 miles north of Syracuse and midway between Rochester and Watertown.
From the Syracuse Area
Take I-81 North to Exit 29 North
Merge onto I-481 North toward Oswego
Continue on I-481 North until you reach the City of Oswego/East Bridge Street (2nd Light)
OR
Take I-690 West to NY 690 North
Continue onto NY-48North until you reach the City of Oswego/West Bridge Street (2nd Light)
From the Watertown Area
Take I-81 South
Get off I-81 South at Exit 36 (Pulaski)
Turn right onto Richland Road
Continue onto Maple Ave
Turn left onto Jefferson Street
Turn right onto Lake Street
Turn left onto NY-3 West
Continue straight onto NY-104B West
Turn right onto NY-104 West
Take NY-104 West to the City of Oswego
From the Rochester Area
Take NY-104 East to the City of Oswego
OR
Take I-90 East to Exit 40 (Weedsport)
Turn left onto NY-34 North
Turn right onto NY 104 East

Parking
Being located in the City of Oswego, there are many spots for parking. You may get lucky and find a spot on city streets, but be prepared to pay for private lot parking. During the festival the City of Oswego enforces all parking regulations. Unauthorized vehicles in no-parking zones or in reserved parking spots will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. Many privately owned parking lots are located in close proximity of Harborfest venues.
There are limited handicap spaces available throughout the city and in the parking lot on Lake Street (Breitbeck Park).
Shuttle Schedule:
Thursday: 5 PM – 11:30 PM
Friday: 11 AM – Midnight
Saturday: 11 AM – Midnight
Sunday: 11 AM – 7 PM
Note: Shuttle service is schedule to run on the half-hour. Keep in mind that traffic congestion will impact the schedule.
