Shuttle buses will run once again for the 35th anniversary edition of Harborfest, but this year, bus rides will be free, thanks to many local companies. Shuttles will run constantly among six locations Thursday – Sunday July 25 – 28. Shuttle locations will be:
- Breitbeck Park,
- The Midway at the Lake Street parking lot,
- The corner of E. Cayuga & E. 1st Street at the Best Western Hotel,
- Washington Square/East Park,
- The Holiday Inn Express at 140 E. 13th St., and
- Oswego Speedway.
Shuttle sponsors include All States Materials Group, Fulton Savings Bank, Suburban Propane, Community Bank, Holiday Inn Express, Oswego Speedway, Best Western Plus, and Clarion Hotel and Suites Riverfront. Kinney Drugs sponsors the shuttle buttons. In prior years, shuttle buttons were purchased to pay for the shuttle ride. This year, buttons will be available on shuttles free of charge for those who collect them. Quantities are limited.
“Free shuttle rides are a great way to mark our 35th anniversary. We’re grateful to our sponsors for helping people to get around the festival easily and safely. Our shuttles are a great way to avoid traffic. Take our shuttles and let us do the driving for you this year,” said Dan Harrington, Harborfest Executive Director.
Shuttles will run on this schedule:
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – Midnight
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – Midnight
- Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
