With the 2025 Harborfest in the books, Executive Director Dan Harrington offered thanks to the sponsors, vendors and guests who contributed to one of the best editions of the festival in recent years. Weather remained reasonably favorable during Harborfest weekend, which the festival’s founders always claimed was chosen because it was the weekend with the best weather of the summer. A huge crowd enjoyed the performance of Parmalee, the first national touring country show in years at Harborfest. Of course, the Pathfinder Grucci Family Fireworks Extravaganza drew its usual massive crowd to the shore of Lake Ontario on a perfect night for colored explosions to paint the night sky.
A new thrills show delighted audiences on the lake and helicopter rides took people above it. Some new vendors broadened the Harborfest food and beverage menu, rides gave riders something to shout about, and a wide array of musical performances, spanning rock, jazz, country, blues and more provided something for just about everyone.
“On behalf of our staff, volunteers and our Board of Directors, I want to thank every single person involved with Harborfest this year. We had a terrific year, bringing people back to our magnificent lake and our beautiful parks. We took a day or two to catch our breaths and went straight back to work to plan a 2026 festival that is even better,”said Dan Harrington, Harborfest Executive Director.
Harborfest 2026 will take place July 24 – 27.
