Oswego, NY (July 12, 2017) – Harborfest is happy to announce the partnership with iHeartOswego.com and naming them as the official photographers for this year’s 30th Anniversary festival.
This year, iHeartOswego will take photographs throughout the week of Harborfest (Tuesday – Sunday), covering more than 50 hours of on-the-ground photography that will include different musical venues, vendors and more. iHeartOswego is also pushing multiple Harborfest related photos on social media before the festival as well as throughout each day of the festival.
Harborfest is ensuring the iHeartOswego photographers have permission to be on or in front of stages at venues. The partnership includes Harborfest being allowed to use the photos that are taken with proper credit given.
“We are really excited about partnering with Harborfest this year and are honored at being named the official photographers!” said Jerry Maher, lead photographer and volunteer. “Harborfest is a great tradition and a perfect opportunity to get some of the best pictures of the year.”
Harborfest is one of the few admission-free music festivals in the country. It was founded with the mission of creating nationally recognized festivals and events that attract and engage a broad and diverse audience, celebrate and build community, and advance economic development in Oswego, New York. It would not be possible to continue the event without the massive continued support received from the City of Oswego, businesses, organizations, government entities and individuals and family members.
