OSWEGO, N.Y. (May 23, 2018) – Oswego Harborfest is pleased to announce its headliners for festival weekend, including Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, Almost Queen and Hard Promises at the Main Stage in Breitbeck Park and Enter the Haggis at East Park.

On Thursday, July 26 at 9 p.m., Almost Queen will take the stage with lead singer Joseph Russo singing the part of Freddy Mercury. With genuine costumes and sound, Almost Queen will surely bring back old memories and create new ones. Queen’s hits will be performed and the sing-along of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one not to miss.

On Friday, July 27 at 10 p.m., Don Felder will join Haborfest’s long list of headliners, including Kenny Loggins, Bare Naked Ladies, Kansas, Joan Jett and Dennis DeYoung of Styx. Felder joined The Eagles in the Mid-70s when the band was looking to move from a country mellow band to more commercial rock. He and Joe Walsh were instrumental in bringing the lead guitar music to Don Henley and Glenn Frey.
His most famous song undoubtedly is “Hotel California,” which he will be performing on stage for all spectators surrounding the stage Friday evening to view and sing-along to. Felder’s performance with his double slide guitar and vocals will be one to go down in the books. Harborfest is proud to be hosting another member of the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”
On Saturday, July 28 at 7:45 p.m., Hard Promises, a band comprised of Central New York musicians, will take the stage and perform the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and more classic rock artists. The members of Hard Promises has shared the stage with well-known musical talents such as B.B. King, Joan Jett, Blue Oyster Cult and more. Tom Petty passed away last year, leaving a void in the classic rock world, but Hard Promises will help fill that void in Petty’s memory at Harborfest 2018 with some of his songs.

At East Park, “Enter the Haggis” will perform twice on Sunday, July 29 at 2 and 3:30 p.m. The premiere Celtic rock folk band played in 2016 in front of the largest crowds Harborfest has ever seen. Their most recent studio album debuted at #9 on the U.S. national Billboard Heatseekers charts.
