Annual Festival Adds New Vendor Category
Oswego, NY(May 9, 2016)- The 29th annual Oswego Harborfest is now offering antique vendors the opportunity to showcase their merchandise to the nearly 125,000 people who attend the free-admission music festival that will take place the last weekend in July.
In addition to the existing arts and crafts vendors, antiques vendors will be situated on River Walk East, located behind the Best Western and Quality Inn Hotels. Vendors will be open for shoppers on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the festival.
Applications have already been sent out to several vendors, and Harborfest encourages interested applicants to download an application and send it in as soon as possible. The applications can be found at www.oswegoharborfest.com/antique-vendor-application/.
Harborfest Executive Director Peter Myles stated, “Harborfest is proud to now offer antique vendors the chance to be visible to the large number of people who visit our festival. We believe it is an extremely valuable opportunity both for the vendors and for our event, and we are looking forward to having antique vendors be part of our festival. Antiques vendors who are interested in setting up on River Walk East should fill out an application as soon as they can, before space is filled.”
Harborfest is one of the few admission-free music festivals in the country. It was founded with the mission of creating nationally recognized festivals and events that attract and engage a broad and diverse audience, celebrate and build community, and advance economic development in Oswego, New York. It would not be possible to continue the event without the massive continued support received from the City of Oswego, businesses, organizations, government entities, and individuals and family members.
