Oswego Harbor Festivals Inc. is a volunteer-driven organization and offers many different types of exciting and valuable internship opportunities to college students for the fall, spring and summer semesters. These opportunities include but are not necessarily limited to assistance in the following:
►Public Relations
This position is available in spring and summer semesters only.
Prepare press releases and statements
Assist in preparation of radio, television and print advertisements
Assist in development of promotional materials.
Compile press clipping for post-event sponsorship evaluation
Assist in media-relations activity during the festival.
►Sponsors, Volunteers, Vendors, Members and Entertainment
Assist with development of sponsor, vendor, exhibitor, member and entertainment agreements.
Prepare pre-event packages for sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, members and entertainers.
Track receipt of sponsor and member materials
Assist with volunteer training, scheduling and assignments.
►Administration
Assist with correspondence
Schedule appointments and meetings.
Assist with various office tasks including filing and database updates.
Assist with ID program.
Students seeking internship opportunities with Oswego Harbor Festivals Inc should have the following general skills:
