WOLF RADIO DISNEY CONCERT AT HARBORFEST TO FEATURE AARON CARTER
OSWEGO, N.Y. (June 28)—Pop music recording star Aaron Carter will be the featured performer at the WOLF Radio Disney Concert at Harborfest. The concert, slated for Friday July 29 at 11:45 a.m., is sponsored by WOLF Radio Disney and Dunkin’ Donuts.
Aaron Carter began his music career at the age of seven and during the next five years he made a name for himself as an energetic and charismatic performer, both onstage and in his recordings. He follows in the tradition of his older brother, Nick, who is a member of the legendary Backstreet Boys.
At the age of seventeen, there are few performing artists who can claim the success that Aaron Carter has already achieved. He is the youngest male solo artist to record four Top 40 hits and has made a name for himself all over the world as a singer, dancer and now an accomplished film star with his recently released film “Fat Albert.”
Aaron’s career got started after he performed with the Backstreet Boys during a European tour in 1997. Only ten at the time, Aaron quickly became a popular teen heartthrob. His self-titled debut in 1998 and the following year’s “Surfin’ USA” were successful in Japan and Germany as well as in the U.S. Since then, he has recorded “Aaron’s Party,” “Oh Aaron” and “Another Earthquake!” His sixth album will be released later this year.
Successful tours with opening acts for the Backstreet Boys and Brtiney Spears kept Aaron busy over the years as well as numerous appearances on Nickelodeon and the Disney channel. Yet, as recent album sales and concert turnouts show, Aaron has now proven his own worth as a musical artist. He is no longer filling the opening spot for bigger acts, rather bands and artists are lining up for the honor of opening his concerts.
Smooth dance moves and talented vocals have gotten Aaron to where he is today. He credits much of his musical influence to Journey’s Steve Perry and the music he grew up with. His sweet charm and high energy has captured the attention of many and won the hearts of even more.
Aaron Carter’s admission-free concert will take place at Lakeview stage in Breitbeck Park. Harborfest is slated for July 28 – 31.

Chris Trousdale
Since the age of four, Chris Trousdale has always shown a love for performance. He is a solo singer, dancer and actor who credits much of his success to his fans and their support. He has performed in several Broadway plays including “The Sound of Music” and “Les Miserables” and was also a member of Dream Street for three years. Since the band’s break-up in 2002, Chris has gone on to develop his own brand of music for his solo disc to be released sometime this year.
