OUR MISSION

To promote an increased public awareness of, and civic pride in, the unique history and geography as well as the varied cultural and recreational opportunities to be found in the City of Oswego and its waterfront, the County of Oswego, the Oswego River and the southeastern shore of Lake Ontario.  This will include, but not be limited to, providing a series of events or activities which highlight the quality of life in this area.

OUR ORGANIZATION

Harborfest is produced by Oswego Harbor Festivals Inc and is supported through memorabilia sales, site fees, membership, foundation grants and by the business community. Harborfest is thankful to its business partners for their generosity and continued support throughout the years. As a not-for-profit organization Oswego Harbor Festivals Inc. operates on a break-even budget and relies heavily on the support of volunteers. Proceeds from all revenue sources go toward the expenses associated with putting on this admission-free festival. Revenues in excess of expenses are invested into improvements for the next festival and support of cultural education in Oswego County Schools.
