The marquee attraction for the 25th year in a row at Harborfest will be the Entergy Fireworks Spectacular by Grucci on Saturday night July 28th. The Syracuse New Times will be presenting top acts on the NRG Lakeview Stage in Breitbeck Park for the crowd of fans to listen to…before and after the fireworks. Four bands are highlighted by Journey tribute band “Separate Ways The Band”, who “wrap around” the fireworks by starting before the Grucci fireworks show and continuing after it ends.
LA the Band was first formed in the early 80’s. Two of the founding members brought the band back together a couple of years ago after recruiting former members from Toys in the Attic, Benny Mardones, BB Bop and Buster Skidd. LA plays various venues throughout Central New York bringing Van Halen, Dockken, AC/DC, Aerosmith and other great 80’s music to their audience. The group consists of Rance Walters, Mark Caruana, Steve Ulin and David Impellizari. LA the Band takes to the stage at 4:00 PM on Saturday.
Big Eyed Phish is THE premier Dave Matthews Tribute band to see! Recreating the musical styling of the Dave Matthews band, from the early stages of the band in 93-94 to renditions of Funny the Way It Is andShake Me Like a Monkey, which have been new staples on Dave Matthews band’s latest tours. The band is assembled and led by Brandon DePaul, who has had 1000′s of hours on Stage with Rochester’s favorite, Tripping Billies. Brandon is backed by some of the best musicians in Rochester, Mike Hoeschele, Chris Brodehecker, Brian Dudiak, Dan Merkey, Collin Jones, and Karl Thomas. Together these incredible and inspiring musicians make up Big Eyed Phish, the closest recreation of a live Dave Matthews Band show. Big Eyed Phish takes the stage at 6:00 on Saturday.

THE BOMB has entertained at the biggest and best clubs and venues all over Central New York for twelve years. THE BOMB plays a mix of cover tunes from all of the hottest modern rock, ’80′s Metal and Classic Metal bands, along with some original music mixed in the set. THE BOMB consists of M.J. SantaLucia, Mitch Mann, Jim Crossway, Dan Mahoney and Marcus Recchio. THE BOMB takes to the stage at 11:15 PM on Saturday.
