Emerging artists from Oswego County will be front and center for the first time at the “Showcase Oswego” venue slated as an attraction in the Novelis Family Park at Franklin Square which will have a convenient Trolley stop at West Third and West Seneca Streets.
This new attraction is open to local artists that are not yet ready for the “Juried Arts and Crafts” venues that have long been a tradition at festivals such as Harborfest. These artists will be putting on demonstrations in their tent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will also be working on a “Starry Night Mosaic” throughout the weekend which will be made from wine bottle bottoms. This venue give artists from the community a chance to carry on the tradition of arts and crafts that Harborfest was founded on twenty five years ago.
All area artists are invited to be part of the first ever “Showcase Oswego”. Click here for applications.
